Unionized Job Vacancy POSITION TITLE: Engineering Technologist I - IV HOURS OF WORK 40 hours per week

HOURLY RATE $39.41-$42.34

Reporting to the Manager of Engineering, the Engineering Technologist provides a variety of engineering technical services for the Town of Smithers.

Qualifications for an Engineering Technologist I - IV includes at least one to five years in Civil or Municipal Engineering Technology, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Candidates with lesser experience are encouraged to apply, and will be considered at a Level I ($39.41) or Level II ($40.12).

Essential Qualifications Include

Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology

Valid Class 5 Drivers License

WHMIS, Traffic Control, First Aid

Water, Sewer, Storm, Surveying, Computer-aided Design, and Drafting, eligibility for membership as an Applied Science Technologist with ASTTBC
