The successful applicants must be a team‑player, ready to work effectively in a small team or independently, alongside all in‑house trades to complete top‑quality work in various District facilities. Experience and training in institutional facilities is a bonus.Hours:



37.5 hours per week on afternoon shift beginning at 3:00 p.M., Monday to Friday only. The successful applicants will have access to top‑quality tools and equipment, a well‑maintained fleet of vehicles and the beautiful District Facilities Centre located in the heart of Surrey.A valid Class 5 BC Driver's licenseInterprovincial trades qualification (TQ) in Plumbing with a Red Seal endorsementClass B Gasfitter LicenseA minimum of 3 years experience in a variety of plumbing workSufficient physical strength and health to perform the duties of the position are required.Sprinkler Fitter Journeyman Certificate is an asset.Cross Connection Control Certificate is an asset.This is a unionized position that offers an hourly wage rate of$40.65 per hourplus a liberal benefit package that includes pension, health, vacation, and sick benefits.Successful applicants will be required to consent to a Criminal Records Search prior to employment.#J-18808-Ljbffr
