The Valley Regional Hospital is seeking an adult psychiatrist to work a 0.4 full time equivalency (FTE) basis in the community adult outpatient services. The successful candidate will work as part of a collaborative community adult outpatient team. The psychiatry service supports rural satellite clinics for mental health and addictions, seniors mental health, community outreach teams, clozapine, and depot clinics, consult services for adults with neurodevelopmental disorders, consultation with medical units and emergency departments and full Child and Adolescent Clinical Services.This is a cohesive team with members from diverse backgrounds dedicated to providing quality care. Valley Regional Hospital (VRH) opened its doors to patients in 1992 and serves the people of Kings and Annapolis Counties.



It provides specialty services as a referral centre for the Annapolis Valley and other areas of Western Nova Scotia.Located in Kentville, VRH is a 137 inpatient bed facility that provides inpatient, outpatient, and satellite care to approximately 80,000 residents.Learn more aboutValley Regional Hospital Responsibilities
