The Queen’s BioMechatronics Team (QBMeT) is a multidisciplinary engineering design team that designs and builds wearable exoskeleton systems for applications such as emergency response, industrial work, and mobility assistance. QBMeT is composed of four sub-teams: Research, Structural, Software, and Power Systems, which work together to develop an integrated exoskeleton system.
Project Managers will lead small teams of general members within their sub-team, helping organize projects, track deadlines, and coordinate work. Responsibilities include hosting project meetings, delegating tasks, reporting progress to the Chief Technical Officer (CTO), and coordinating with other Project Managers to ensure projects contribute to a cohesive final product.
PMs will also be active contributors to the technical work of their projects, working alongside general members to develop designs, conduct research, solve technical problems, and move projects from concept to implementation.
No prior experience with QBMeT or engineering design teams is necessary!
Applications are due Sunday, September 20th at 11:59 PM EST.
