This is a full-time on-site role for a Real Estate Clerk located in Kingston, ON.
The Real Estate
Clerk will be responsible for preparing legal documents, conducting legal research, drafting correspondence, and providing administrative support for real estate transactions. Additional tasks will include effective communication with clients, maintaining files, and ensuring compliance with legal procedures and policies.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of real estate transactions from initial client intake to closing.
- Prepare and review legal documents, including purchase agreements, mortgages, transfers, and title searches.
- Communicate effectively with clients, lenders, real estate agents, and other parties involved in the transaction.
- Prepare closing documents and ensure accurate and timely completion of transactions.
- Maintain organized and accurate files.
- Stay up-to-date on current real estate law and regulations.
Qualifications
- Knowledge and experience in Real Estate law and legal document preparation
- Experience with Teraview, Unity and PC Law software
- Proficient in research and writing
- Robust communication skills
- Attention to detail and organization skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Experience in real estate law is required
- Law clerk diploma
Salary Range:
$45,000.00 - $55,000.00
