Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing, engaging, and educational environment for young children. This role involves working closely with children, families, and team members to support early childhood development and learning. The RECE will utilize strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills to foster a positive classroom atmosphere that promotes growth and development.

Experience with children, special education, and working with individuals with disabilities is highly valued. Bilingual abilities in English and French are considered an asset.

Responsibilities

- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities that support early childhood education standards
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment for children of various backgrounds and abilities
- Communicate effectively with children, families, and team members to ensure a collaborative approach to child development
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress and daily activities
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum plans and classroom strategies
- Support children with special needs or disabilities through tailored activities and accommodations
- Utilize computer skills for documentation, communication,



and educational purposes
- Demonstrate solid time management skills to balance classroom responsibilities efficiently
- Lead by example in maintaining professionalism, organization, and leadership within the classroom setting

Experience

- Prior experience working with children in early childhood settings or classrooms is preferred
- Knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education practices
- Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is advantageous
- Bilingual proficiency in English and French is highly desirable
- Demonstrated communication skills for effective interaction with children, families, and team members
- Strong organizational skills for managing classroom activities, documentation, and planning
- Experience in teaching or childcare roles that showcase leadership capabilities and classroom management skills
