high performance and a culture of safety and accountability.Primary ResponsibilitiesStart-up, operation, routine monitoring and inspection, and shutdown of the grinding circuit, including all equipmentMonitor and adjust feed rate to achieve the throughput target, while avoiding circuit overloadMonitor and adjust water addition to achieve throughput and density targets, at the finest possible product sizeMonitor and control lime and cyanide solution addition as per plant targetsComplete routine slurry density and screen analysisCollect routine samples from the reclaim conveyors for ore grade and moisture determinationAdd grinding media to ball mills as per plant targetsReport hot motors, worn pipes, unusual conditions, and spillage immediately to the Mill SupervisorTransfer cyanide solution to the stripping circuit, when requestedMaintain good housekeeping in the grinding areaVerify the condition of the primary mill feed belt scale and maintain its cleanlinessComplete and submit the shift operation report for this areaComplete minor mechanical repairs, as assignedAll other activities as assigned by the Mill SupervisorSkills, Knowledge,
Qualifications and ExperienceFive years of experience in Gold Mill Processing is required.Completed Secondary School Diploma or GED.Works effectively independently and collaboratively.Overall understanding of mill operation and the relationships between operating areas.Working ConditionsMust be comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions and rotations that include days and nights. This will be 7 day on 7 day off rotation, 12.5 hr shifts.
