ammonia or chemicals used in the position.Key ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities:Evaluation of chemical composition of symbiotic culture of bacteria and yeast (SCOBY):Conduct assays to determine their chemical properties, including protein and amino acids, dietary fibre, starch, sugars, glucosinolates, fat, minerals, and other nutritionally important components.Organize the inventory of selected samples and their corresponding chemical composition data.Review the chemical composition data of feed ingredients obtained in an earlier research program.Perform analyses of the prebiotic potential of feed ingredients.Calculate and present the assay results.Maintain laboratory standards for chemical assays.Evaluation of new enzymes for dietary fibre degradation of feedstuffs:Conduct assays with new microbial cultures/enzymes to determine their ability to depolymerize cell wall polysaccharides of canola, expelled canola, expelled soybean, flaxseed, pulse crops, etc.Organize inventory of exogenous enzyme preparations and maintain the record of analyses.Determine the extent of fiber and its components degradation, including the analysis of cell wall polysaccharides, glycoproteins,
