RECREATION LEADER - PART TIME The City of Recent Smyrna Beach's Leisure Services Department is hiring for a Part Time Recreation Leader to assist at the City Gym and Babe James Community Center!





Hourly Rate: $18.4669 Working Schedule: Primarily Evenings and Weekends Candidate MUST successfully pass a Level II Background Check, Physical & Drug Screen About The Job The Recreation Leader performs in planning, organizing, supervising, and coordinating recreational programs and activities at an assigned recreational facility or community center. The position supports daily program operations, customer service delivery, facility readiness, and participant safety.

What We're Looking For Education and Experience:

- High school diploma or equivalent; two (2) years of experience in recreation, youth programming, leisure activities, athletics, or a related field; or any combination of education, training, and experience, which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job.

Licenses And Certifications

- Certified in Crowd Management or ability to obtain certification within ninety (90) days of hire.
- Valid Florida driver's license.
- CPR and First Aid Certification preferred
