Position: Full time Refrigeration Technician

COLDMOOSE LTD. is looking for an experienced and reliable Refrigeration Technician to join our growing team. The position involves installation, service, troubleshooting, and commissioning of commercial refrigeration and cold-storage systems.

Responsibilities

- Install and service walk-in coolers and walk-in freezers
- Install condensing units, evaporators, compressors, piping, and refrigeration controls
- Refrigerant piping, brazing, pressure testing, evacuation, and charging
- Troubleshoot refrigeration and electrical/control issues
- Start-up and commission new refrigeration systems
- Diagnose compressor, fan motor, defrost, temperature, and pressure-control problems
- Perform preventive maintenance and emergency service calls
- Work with remote and self-contained refrigeration systems
- Complete job/service documentation
- Follow Ontario safety requirements and company procedures

Requirements
- Commercial refrigeration/HVAC experience




- 313A Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Systems Mechanic licence preferred
- ODP certification preferred
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Experience with walk-in cooler/freezer systems
- Ability to read refrigeration and electrical diagrams
- Valid Ontario driver's licence
- Reliable, professional, and able to work independently
- Willing to travel to customer/job sites throughout the GTA and Ontario
