As the Regional Business Development Manager you will lead strategic growth initiatives throughout Atlantic Canada. This is an excellent opportunity for a relationship-driven sales professional who thrives on developing long-term partnerships, uncovering new business opportunities, and helping clients solve complex challenges.
Reporting to the Vice President of Business Development, you will play a key role in expanding market presence, supporting regional partners, and driving sustainable revenue growth across the territory.
What You'll Be Doing
Business Development
- Develop and execute a regional business development strategy aligned with corporate growth objectives.
- Identify, qualify, and secure new business opportunities within insurance, commercial, restoration and strategic partner markets.
- Build & maintain a healthy sales pipeline while consistently achieving targets.
- Manage full sales lifecycle; prospecting through negotiation, closing, ongoing AM
- Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, networking functions, and trade shows.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities.
Strategic Account Management
- Build trusted relationships with key clients and industry stakeholders.
- Serve as the primary contact for assigned regional and national accounts.
- Conduct regular business reviews and identify opportunities to expand existing partnerships.
- Ensure exceptional customer service by coordinating with internal teams to meet client expectations.
- Resolve client issues proactively while maintaining long-term relationships.
Regional Collaboration
- Partner closely with regional operations and internal teams to support local business development initiatives.
- Share market intelligence and client insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Assist with implementing national account initiatives throughout the region.
- Foster collaboration across sales, operations, marketing, and leadership teams.
Sales Performance & Reporting
- Maintain accurate pipeline management and forecasting using CRM tools.
- Prepare monthly sales reports, territory updates, and business development forecasts.
- Track key performance metrics and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Contribute to ongoing enhancements to sales processes and client engagement strategies.
What We're Looking For
Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field is preferred.
- Professional sales or insurance designations are considered an asset.
Experience
- 5+ years of progressive business development or consultative sales experience.
- Proven success building strategic client relationships and achieving sales targets.
- Experience managing complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders.
- Comfortable working independently while managing a regional territory.
- Industry experience within insurance, restoration, construction, commercial services, or a related field is considered a strong asset.
