Job DescriptionMitchell Plastics provides:Competitive compensationDevelopment and training plansRRSP matchingPaid time off and paid holidaysOpportunityReporting to the Logistics Supervisor, the Shipper is responsible for the accurate staging of shipments as per customer requirements, preparing shipping documentation, loading and unloading trucks, etc.This position requires picking orders, use of a scan gun, and assistance in keeping the finished goods area organized and clean, and forklift driving in a fast-paced setting.The Shipper will prepare and palletize shipments according to customer requirements, maintain and prepare customer supplied packaging, and track the receipt of customer packaging and the use of expendables to meet customer demands.The Shipper is a key player in keeping our Logistics Department running, and ensuring we are able to meet customer requirements in a fast-paced, “just-in-time” environment.Organizational skills, as well as cooperation with other Logistics and Production Teams are necessary for this position. You must be able to work overtime and occasional holidays as required and have an excellent attendance record. You will need to be able to move shift to shift from time to time (Example:
