COILED TUBING OPERATOR – RED DEER (RDC)

The Coiled Tubing Operator is responsible for thesafe operation of equipment during the hours of their shift.

Responsibilities:

- Ensurethat Trican’s core value, “We won’t put anyone in harm’s way” is thepriority in all activities
- Operatevarious large duty trucks over outdoor terrain and through all weatherconditions
- Participatesin the investigation of incidents
- Performpre-and post trip inspections and accurately fill out all required forms
- Attendspre-job safety meetings on location
- Establishesand maintains effective communication with colleagues
- Inspectsand properly configures all equipment
- Performrig-up (assembly) and rig out (disassembly) of all equipment for travel




- Performmaintenance operations to units and auxiliary equipment
- Conferswith supervisor and crew regarding any operational deficiencies
- Ensureall Workplace Safety, Environmental and National Safety Code Policies andRegulation are followed

Experience & Skills:

- ValidClass 1 or Class 3 driver’s licence is required
- Pressurepumping experience is preferred
- Highschool diploma is an asset
- Safedriving skills; driver’s abstract will be requested
- Physicallydemanding, heavy lifting required
- Excellentcommunication skills, both written and verbal
