Some of the specific tasks will include but are not limited to the following:Operate and maintain diamond drilling equipment safely and efficientlyExecute drilling programs to meet production and safety targetsPerform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of drill rigs and support equipmentWork effectively in helicopter-supported, remote job sitesEnsure all safety, environmental, and company policies are followedComplete accurate drilling reports and documentationCollaborate with crew members and supervisors to maintain productivityHelpers are responsible to assist in the secure operation of helicopter-supported equipment,



tools or instruments to provide services in conjunction with specific drilling projects. Some of the specific tasks will include but are not limited to the following:Complete a pre-operational checklist for the pump at the start of every shiftAssist the operator in the lowering and pulling of drill rodsPrepare core recovered during shift for delivery to the client ensuring that it is well-placed, labeled, and uncontaminatedPrepare core tube assemblies between runsAssist with moves, set-ups and tear-downs of drill set-upsClean and store equipment, tools, spare-parts and materials in its proper placeKeep a neat and orderly worksite, free of garbage and tripping hazardsValid Training Requirements:Minimum5 years of diamond drilling experience–helicopter-supported (heli-portable) drilling operationsMinimum2 years of diamond drilling helper experience – helicopter-supported (heli-portable) drilling operationValid certifications (First Aid, WHMIS, Working at Heights, Isolation Theory training, etc. – or as required)Surface Diamond Drilling Common Core (or equivalent)Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skillsAbility to work in remote locations under demanding conditionsStrong commitment to safety and teamworkPhysically fit and capable of handling labor-intensive workOther Requirements:Valid Driver’s LicensePre-Access Medical, Drug and Alcohol TestingCriminal Record Check#J-18808-Ljbffr
