In accordance with the established mission, vision, values, and strategic priorities of Northern Health, and under the general supervision of Manager or designate, this position facilitates the admission, discharge and patient transfer processes, and is responsible for coordinating patient/resident care when necessary. The role promotes the effective allocation and utilization of beds to determine patient placement and support patients receiving quality care.

The Patient Care

Coordinator assists the Program Managers in establishing and maintaining standards of patient care and is responsible for coordinating the operations of the hospital in the absence of managers, department heads and senior administrative personnel.

Shift Rotation/Hours of work: Days, Nights, 07:00 to 19:00, 19:00 to 07:00 (rotating)
