What You’ll Be Doing

- Process prescriptions accurately, including data entry, refills, picking, labeling, packaging, and technical release
- Prepare prescriptions and medication orders for delivery
- Maintain accurate medication and supply inventory, including purchasing, receiving, expiry checks, and inventory counts
- Communicate professionally with patients, physicians, healthcare professionals, and internal teams by phone and email
- Manage dispensing and shipping schedules
- Process payments and account receivable information
- Assist with third-party insurance claims and special authorization processes
- Ensure medications are stored safely and appropriately, including cold-chain products
- Monitor and report medication storage requirements
- Follow pharmacy policies, SOPs, and all applicable regulatory requirements
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to continuous improvement




- Support different areas of pharmacy operations as part of a cross-trained team

What You Bring

- Registration as a Pharmacy Technician in New Brunswick, or eligibility for registration
- Completion of a CCAPP-accredited Pharmacy Technician program
- 1–2+ years of pharmacy experience
- Experience with Kroll is preferred
- Experience in specialty pharmacy is an asset
- Knowledge of third-party insurance and special authorization processes is an asset
- Strong communication skills in English
- Excellent organization and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently while being a strong team player
