Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care in various settings, including hospitals, senior care facilities, and acute care environments. The RPN will play a vital role in supporting patients with diverse needs, including those requiring pain management, dementia care, and pediatric support.

Responsibilities

- Deliver comprehensive patient care by assessing individual needs and developing appropriate care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed while monitoring patient responses.
- Utilize medical terminology effectively to communicate with healthcare professionals and document patient information accurately.
- Provide support for pain management strategies tailored to each patient's requirements.
- Assist with phlebotomy procedures and other diagnostic tests as needed.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes in acute and senior care settings.
- Maintain accurate records of patient progress and communicate changes to the healthcare team.




- Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment plans, and self-care strategies.

Experience

- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred, particularly in areas such as pediatrics, dementia care, or acute care.
- Familiarity with Cerner or similar electronic health record systems is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and its application in clinical practice.
- Proven ability to provide compassionate patient care while managing multiple priorities effectively.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team setting.
