Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care across various settings, including nursing homes, hospitals, assisted living facilities, and home care environments. This role requires a strong foundation in nursing practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.

The RPN will be responsible for delivering personalized care to diverse patient populations, including seniors, children, and individuals requiring hospice or dementia care.

Duties

- Administer medications and treatments accurately following physician orders and established protocols
- Monitor patient health status through assessments and vital sign measurements
- Document patient care activities
- Educate patients and families about health conditions, medication management, and post-discharge care instructions
- Ensure compliance with infection control policies and safety standards in all patient interactions




- Support case management efforts to coordinate ongoing patient care and community resources

Experience

- Prior experience working in nursing homes, hospitals, or assisted living facilities is highly desirable
- Experience in acute care settings or home care environments is advantageous
- Familiarity with medical terminology, medication administration protocols, and electronic health record systems such as Oscar.
- Proven ability to deliver compassionate patient-centered care across diverse populations including seniors and children
- Previous involvement in case management or working within multidisciplinary teams enhances candidacy

This role offers an opportunity for professional growth within a supportive healthcare setting committed to excellence in patient care. This role is part-time from 6-10/11 Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday. May grow into a larger position.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $24.27-$38.14 per hour
