Job InformationThe Legislative Assembly is seeking a Finance and Procurement Officer who will be responsible for managing financial transaction processing, including accounts payable and receivable, journal entries, vendor and customer records, payroll compliance, and perks administration of the Legislative Assembly. This role also oversees procurement, contracting services for Member of the Legislative Assembly, Statutory Offices, and the Office of the Clerk.Key ResponsibilitiesApprove processing financial transactions entered into GNWT ERP System, pursuant to applicable Section of the Financial Administration Act.Provide financial and technical information and support.Prepare and/or schedule appropriate financial transaction processing and reconciliations.Plan, organize and conduct professional procurement services or a diverse range of goods and services on behalf of Members, Statutory Offices, Senior Management and Program Managers in procurement activities.Key QualificationsCoursework through the Purchasing Management Association of Canada - PMAC to a Level 2, with two (2) years of experience in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, and Contract Administration.EquivalenciesRelevant Post-Secondary Diploma with one (1) year of experience in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, and Contract Administration.Relevant Post-Secondary Certificate with two (2) years of experience in Supply Chain Management, Procurement,
