Job DescriptionThe Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) is the largest mental health and addiction teaching hospital in Canada and one of the world's leading research centres in its field. Our services are delivered to help transform the lives of people affected by mental health and substance use challenges. CAMH is seeking a full‑time, contract (12 months) Research Analyst to support the Toronto Adolescent and Youth (TAY) Cohort Study – a study that follows 1,500 youth to determine who is at highest risk of developing psychosis and the relationship between risk and functional outcomes.ResponsibilitiesAdminister structured diagnostic interviews, clinical scales and cognitive testing, and conduct laboratory/MRI/EEG/PET visits.Prepare and maintain participant study records and documentation, perform data entry, database maintenance, and support development and maintenance of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and training materials.Assist with scheduling human participant interviews, recruiting and screening research participants, and lead the informed consent process.Assist with scheduling other procedural visits and accompany participants to these appointments as needed.Support preparation of data for presentations and peer‑reviewed research papers, and manage other administrative duties as required.You will support a healthy workplace that embraces diversity, encourages teamwork, and complies with all applicable CAMH policies and regulatory requirements. This position requires work from Tuesday to Saturday, includes some evening shifts, and requires onsite work at both 80 Workman Way and 250 College Street, with travel between CAMH sites as required.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Psychology or neuroscience and at least one (1) year of relevant clinical or research experience with youth, young adults, and/or families with mental health challenges.Prior experience in screening, recruiting,



and leading the informed consent process with research participants.Experience with neuroimaging (e.G., MRI, EEG) and handling specimens (e.G., blood, urine) is an asset.Experience with neuropsychological assessments (e.G., RAVLT, LMT), structured diagnostic interviewing (e.G., KSADS‑5, SCID‑5), and clinical rating scales (e.G., SIPS, CSSR‑S) is a robust asset.Competency in following best practices and standard operating procedures.Ability to maintain large databases and use electronic data capture methods such as REDCap.Literature review and synthesis skills.Proficiency with word processing, PowerPoint, and database software packages.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and diverse stakeholders.Strong attention to detail, initiative, good judgment, and ability to meet deadlines while working independently with minimal supervision.Proactive mindset, problem‑solving skills, adaptability, and ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.Bilingualism (French/English) and/or proficiency in a second language is an asset.Vaccines (COVID‑19 and others) are a requirement of the job unless you have an exemption on a medical ground pursuant to the Ontario Human Rights Code.Salary Range: $27.95 – $37.28 per hour.CAMH is dedicated to equity, diversity, and inclusion.
