Pembina Hills School Division invites applications for a Regular Part Time Educational Assistant with Early Learning Services based out of Fort Assiniboine School (FA-PREP). The successful candidate must be a self-directed team player who is interested in working with children with diverse needs in the preschool program. Hours of work will be Tuesday and Thursday at 3.5 hours/day following the school calendar. This position starts as soon as possible and ends June 7, 2027.

The Division

Pembina Hills School Division provides education to approximately 3600 students in 15 community schools in north central Alberta. Our Early Learning Programs are for 3 to 4 year-old children who have moderate or complex needs. In small, play-based settings, children receive instruction in specific skills.

Qualifications/Requirements

- Experience with children with complex needs
- Familiar with and experience in early intervention
- An understanding of early childhood development and experience and training in working with preschool children with developmental disabilities
- Able to work as a member of a preschool team
- Enthusiastic and motivated to help students succeed




- Experience with speech language support and behavioural issues an asset
- First Aid would be an asset
