Job DescriptionBayshore HealthCare is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our Niagara branch team in Haldimand County. The role supports home and community health services and offers a flexible schedule and competitive compensation.Schedule and CompensationSchedule– Work Monday–Friday, weekends or a combination. Both casual employee and independent contractor options are available.Compensation– Employee: $77.50 per visit with sick, vacation, RRSP, and health benefits. Independent contractor: $87.50 per visit.Incentive bonus– $1,000 after the first 100 visits; $2,000 after the next 400 visits; $2,000 after the next 500 visits; $5,000 total.Clinical ResponsibilitiesConduct assessment of clients, establish and evaluate treatment programs, including goals and discharge plans.Maintain accurate clinical records per College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario standards.Collaborate with other health team members as needed.Communicate pertinent information and recommendations to clients and care providers; provide educationon treatment strategies.Observe the performance of program assistants and provide guidance if necessary.Other ResponsibilitiesMaintain active standing in the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario.Participate in ongoing internal and/or external education activities.Adhere to Bayshore Therapy & Rehab policies and procedures.Participate in quality and continuous improvement initiatives under the company’s Quality Management System.Engage in proactive Health & Safety activities and report risks or concerns to the immediate supervisor.Maintain confidentiality of client and corporate information.Complete other tasks as requested.QualificationsEducation– Master’s Degree or recognized equivalent in Occupational Therapy.Licensure– Registered and in valuable standing with the provincial College of Occupational Therapists.Experience– One year of occupational therapy services with in‑home assessments and treatments is an asset.Other– Driver’s licence and reliable vehicle.Proof of vaccination against illnesses such as COVID‑19, hepatitis, seasonal flu may be required, subject to provincial regulations and the position.EEO StatementBayshore is committed to fostering an inclusive workplace in full compliance with all provincial and territorial legislation pertaining to Human Rights Codes and Accessibility requirements.
