This position is responsible for the secure and timely transportation of patients throughout the hospital. Responsibilities include the lifting and movement of patients and equipment on a regular basis, transporting lab specimens, blood and blood products, patient charts, and clean patient care equipment, the proper use and maintenance of hospital transport equipment, immediate reporting of equipment malfunction and other related duties.
