Position SummaryAcurenis currently seeking anNDT Level 2+ Technicianto support projects in thePacific Region, specificallyLangley, BC .If you’re looking for a dynamic industrial environment with opportunities for skilled growth and skill development, this is the opportunity for you.Start date: March 2026Position will be up to 30-40 hrs./weekRate will be up to $39.56 to 57.36/hr. depending on certificationsResponsibilitiesPerform Non-Destructive Testing– Conduct inspections using methods such as ultrasonic (UT), radiographic (RT), magnetic particle (MT), liquid penetrant (PT), or eddy current (ET) according to established procedures and standards.Interpret and Evaluate Results– Analyze test data and results, identify discontinuities or defects, and determine if they meet applicable codes, standards, or client specifications.Prepare Reports and Documentation– Accurately document inspection results, maintain records, and generate reports for review by Level 3 technicians or engineering personnel.Maintain Equipment and Ensure Compliance– Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot NDT equipment,
and ensure all testing is performed safely and in accordance with industry codes and regulatory standards.RequirementsCertification Requirements:CGSB Level 2 Certifications required:CGSB Ultrasonic Testing UT2 CertificationMagnetic Particle Testing MT2 CGSB CertificationLiquid Penetrant Testing PT2 CGSB CertificationIRATA training or willingness to obtain is an assetOther Requirements:Reside locally to Langley, BC or willing to relocate.Strong work ethicsAbility to maintain positive working relations with clientsExceptional safety and quality awarenessAbility to solve problems and manage time effectivelyBe able to communicate clearly in writing and verbally (English).Self-motivated and capable of working at a high technical and performance levelPossess a valid driver’s license minimum (Class 5) with a clean driving record.BenefitsThe strength of Acuren lies in its outstanding people.
