Senior Specialist, HR Strategic Communications & Enablement role open now in downtown Calgary!

Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for a Senior Manager, HR Communications in the oil and gas sector in Calgary, Alberta. We're looking for a strategic communications qualified to elevate how HR communicates across our client's organization. You'll partner closely with HR leadership and Corporate Communications to translate complex initiatives into compelling, audience-focused communications that align with business priorities.

$54.00 - $60.00 hourly

Contract duration: Sep 2026 to Feb 2027

Hybrid work model (3 days in-office), Monday to Friday, full time hours

- Develop executive communications, including Board materials, leadership presentations, briefing notes, and key messaging.
- Translate complex HR programs and workforce initiatives into clear, concise, and impactful communications.
- Create communication frameworks, templates, toolkits, and standards to improve consistency across HR.
- Support HR leaders with communication planning, stakeholder engagement, and message development.




- Partner with Corporate Communications to ensure alignment with enterprise messaging and brand standards.
- Drive continuous improvement in HR communication practices, processes, and governance.

- 10+ years of experience in executive communications, corporate communications, or HR communications.
- Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Business, HR, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience creating executive presentations, Board materials, briefing notes, and leadership communications.
- Exceptional writing, editing, storytelling, and presentation development skills.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing abilities, with experience working closely with senior leaders.
- Ability to simplify complex information and tailor messaging for diverse audiences.
- Experience in large, complex organizations; energy, utilities, pipeline, or other regulated industry experience is an asset.
