Pay or shift range: $85,000 CAD to $95,000 CAD. The salary range is based on a variety of factors, including experience, education, certifications and geographic location.DescriptionThe Warehouse Manager will provide leadership and manage a variety of general warehouse activities in an accurate, effective, and cost-effective manner. We are seeking a distribution professional with experience in leading and managing full scope warehouse activities including but not limited to employee management and development, inventory control, vehicle and driver management, health and safety all in an accurate, efficient, and cost-effective manner. This person will manage staff, including warehouse personnel and drivers, as well as interface with other departments and customers.ResponsibilitiesAnalyzes and proposes methods of sustained productivity increasesMaximize the cube fill rate on the delivery vehicles and minimize delivery costs and increase driver productivityMaintain a clean, orderly, and organized warehouseEnsures safe working conditions including properly training employees on proper safety methods, assists Human Resources with the management of workers compensation claimAudits various paperwork and postings for accuracy and compliance with appropriate local, provincial and federal laws, statutes and company policiesResponsible for the proper collection, dispersal and retention of drivers logs, fuel tax reports, accident files and registersEffectively counsel and manage employees on attendance,
