This role ensures compliance with A&W standards, WorkSafeBC, public health, and employment legislation, and provides full leadership coverage during the Manager’s absence.This position aligns withNOC 60030and includes responsibilities related to planning, organizing, directing, controlling, and evaluating restaurant operations while supporting team development, financial performance, and an exceptional guest experience.Key ResponsibilitiesOperationsSupport the Manager in balancing food quality,



speed of service, guest satisfaction, and cost controlAssist in reviewing weekly P&L statements and managing food, labour, and operational costsMaintain A&W operational standards and support continuous improvement initiativesEnsure compliance with WorkSafeBC, public health, and employment standardsAssist with staff scheduling and shift deploymentSupport equipment, building, and system maintenancePromote team engagement and a positive workplace cultureEnsure sanitation, hygiene, and food‑handling standards are metHuman ResourcesRecruit, train, and coach hourly team membersSupport supervisory hiring and onboardingAddress performance issues and participate in progressive disciplineMentor team members for future leadership opportunitiesLead team meetings when delegatedEnsure payroll and scheduling compliance with provincial legislationPromote a safe, respectful, and motivating work environmentDocument and report critical incidentsAssist with Health & Safety meetings and corrective actionsApply HR policies consistently and fairlyFinancialAssist with daily, weekly, and period‑end accounting tasksSupport inventory control, ordering, waste tracking, and cost managementApply cash, food,
