You are renowned for your exceptional technicalexpertise, proactive problem-solving, and ability to handle situations calmly and efficiently. Reporting to theToronto Team Lead, you will play a pivotal role inmaintainingandoptimizingenterprise-level systems, implementing robust security measures, and managingmedium scaleIT projects. While notparticipatingin the on-call rotation, you will be contacted for escalation if an issue requires yourexpertise.Key ResponsibilitiesPlan, test,



and implement system upgrades to ensure high availability and performance.Maintain and optimize enterprise-level systems and networks.Implement and enforce robust security measures to protect client data and systems.Utilize Azure for cloud services and management and Hybrid Azure AD for seamless integration of on-premises and cloud directories.Implement and manage Group Policy Objects (GPO) and Intune Policies for centralized management and configuration.Handle escalated issues and provide expert-level troubleshooting and problem resolution.Ensure compliance with best practices and industry standards.Manage IT projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within scope.Collaborate with the team or work independently on small projects withappropriate supervision.Assistin testing and documentation activities to streamline processes.Troubleshoot technical issues related to Microsoft's core business applications and operating systems.Ensure smooth functioning of backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.Communicate effectively with clients and team members, keeping them informed of incident progress and changes.Participate in regular team and client meetings, contributing to a collaborative work environment.Stay up to date with relevant technology, products, and services.Demonstrate a detail-oriented approach with excellent interpersonal communication skills, displaying a self-motivated and can-do attitude in all interactions.Respond to out-of-hoursemergencies as needed.



This role may require availability outside of standard working hours to address critical system issues that may arise.Skills and KnowledgeProficiencyindeploying and managing serveroperating systems.Skilledin managing cloud services, especially Microsoft Azure.Knowledge of networking protocols,basicfirewallmanagement, andmid-levelnetwork architecture.Ability to use scripting languages like PowerShell, Bash, or Python for automated system maintenance.Capableofdesigning and implementing backup and disaster recovery solutions.Strong troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues.Effective communication skills for translating technical information to non-technical stakeholders.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, enabling clear and concise communication with both clients and team members.Strong teamplayer with a collaborative attitude, contributing positively to the work environment.Sharp analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, ensuring efficient issue resolution.Education and ExperienceBachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field; substantial experience may substitute for formal education.Industry Certifications such asMicrosoft O365/Azure Role-Based Certifications (or legacy equivalents),VMware Certified Professional (VCP).3-5years of experience in system administration, managing enterprise-level systems and networks.Experience with Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Azure.Experience with security measures, vulnerability assessments, and identity access management.Compensation and Additional PerksCompetitive Compensation based on Skill set and experience can range between $80,000 - $100,000Comprehensive benefits package and time off policiesShort Term Incentive PlansCompany laptopCellphone allowanceCommuting/Fitness AllowanceGreat environment & culture!#J-18808-Ljbffr
