PRAIRIE MOUNTAIN HEALTH seeks a Community Crisis Worker III to deliver crucial crisis intervention services. In this role, you will handle intakes and client assessments, promoting mental well-being.
As a Mobile Crisis Worker, you will function within a team to provide immediate support during crises. Responsibilities include crisis intake, client follow-up, and facilitating group educational sessions. Commitment to continued education in crisis intervention techniques is required.
Key Responsibilities: • Serve as intake for the Mobile Crisis Unit • Prepare documentation for client planning meetings • Perform assessments and mobilize appropriate resources • Conduct post-exposure counseling when necessary • Assist with health record organization and file maintenance
Requirements: • Advanced education in health or social sciences • One year experience in a mental health setting • Current BCLS and First Aid certifications • Competency in Windows software programs • Manitoba Class 5 Driver's License required
