This is an ideal position for an LST in the final stages of obtaining a BCLS commission, a practicing BCLS, or a professional Land Surveyor from another province eligible to become BCLS.ResponsibilitiesCommunicating with clients, consultants, and various government authoritiesQuality control of field returns, survey calculations, drawings, and final deliverablesMentoring team members and providing advice and guidance on various practice topicsSigning and preparing plans for submission to the Land Title and Survey Authority of BCDetailed checking of topographic surveys, legal surveys, and other deliverablesManaging projects: preparing estimates, planning, and maintaining budgetsCommunicating tasks to team members and scheduling workRequirementsMinimum of two (2) years of experience managing survey projects and a teamExcellent communication skills,



both in writing and in personStrong software skills and ability to solve technical problemsValid driver’s licenseKnowledge and experience performing legal surveys in the Lower Mainland is an assetKnowledge of Leica equipment (LiDAR scanners, GPS, and total station) is an assetKnowledge of Civil 3D, Star*Net, ReCap, and Cyclone is an assetCompensationWe offer a starting salary of $110,000–$150,000 per year based on experience and qualifications, along with extended health benefits and opportunities to attend formal training specific to the land surveying industry.
