Senior Manager, Media and Public RelationsLocation:Status:Current, Permanent, Full-timeBThe PositionAs part of the PR, Events and Influencer Engagement team, thePR & Creator Partnerships Managerplays a unique role in shaping how Canadians connect with Plan International Canada’s mission. This role ensures the organization shows up through trusted voices and authentic storytelling, reaching supporters, donors, and partners on platforms they rely on for credibility and connection.Equal parts strategist, project manager, and relationship-builder, you’ll bring ambassador, influencer, and content creator partnerships to life, raising awareness with key audiences, inspiring action, and driving fundraising for girls’ equality and children’s rights.We’re looking for a true ‘people person’ – someone who builds trust effortlessly, thrives on collaboration, and brings experience in public relations, influencer marketing, talent relations or social‑led campaigns.You’ll take on strategic ownership of Plan International Canada’sCelebrated Ambassador, InfluencerandContent Creatorportfolio, spot and develop creative opportunities, and juggle moving parts with confidence. You’ll lead relationships from identification and briefing through activation, delivery and reporting. You’ll work closely with your PR and social media colleagues, and join forces across Marketing, Philanthropy, Programs, and Partnerships teams to execute integrated campaigns, events and fundraising initiatives.What success looks like?Influencer and content creator partnershipsLead partnerships with content creators from identification through activation to raise awareness and drive donations for Plan International CanadaManage relationships across key social platforms and/or through PR or talent agenciesContribute to emerging platform strategies including creator‑led content, as Plan’s social and digital marketing presence continues to evolveShape authentic, timely, creative and meaningful storytelling aligned with Plan’s standardsOversee timelines, budgets, deliverables and performance reportingAmbassador relationship and talent managementIdentify,



engage and manage both Celebrated Ambassadors and one‑off impactful celebrity partnerships across campaigns, fundraising, events and PR/media momentsSteward and grow current relationships with Celebrated AmbassadorsVet, recruit and onboard current ambassadors to expand Plan International Canada’s reach and relevance with key audiencesBrief ambassadors for public‑facing opportunities with clear messaging and guidancePublic Relations campaigns, events and media supportContribute to PR and Communications campaigns, media relations and key moments to drive fundraising, donor engagement and strengthen public trustDevelop ambassador and influencer engagement strategies for priority initiativesCollaborate with Marketing, Philanthropy and Programs on events and partnershipsEnable ambassador and influencer support for fundraising and donor engagementAct as a responsive, solutions‑oriented partner to internal teamsBalance proactive planning with rapid response to emerging needsAs our ideal candidate you will have:5-7 years of experience in PR, influencer marketing, talent relations, social media, or integrated communicationsProven experience developing content creator, influencer, brand ambassador campaigns and managing multiple talent and/or creator relationshipsConfidence communicating directly with high‑profile individuals, content creators, influencers, talent and agentsExcellent judgement, relationship‑building, negotiation and interpersonal skillsStrong knowledge of social media platforms, trends and best practicesAn aptitude for human‑first, authentic storytelling – with an ability to spot and create resonant stories, and guide creators and ambassadors accordinglyAttention to detail, and advanced writing, editing, briefing,



research and fact‑checking skillsExperience planning and managing budgets and tracking performance metricsEvents and experiential marketing experience an assetA collaborative, team player mindset and positive attitudePersonal values aligned with Plan International Canada’s mission to build a more equal world for girls – and all childrenThe salary range for this position is anticipated to be between $56,000 and $71,000. We comprehensively evaluate a variety of factors to determine fair compensation, including experience, specific job‑related skills, and relevant educational or professional training. Additionally, we ensure that compensation is equitable across our team and aligns with current market trends. This role also qualifies for an extensive benefits package and generous paid time off.Plan International Canada is a hybrid workplace.
