The Clerk V is part of the team responsible for providing a One ATCO employee experience in relation to inquiries on Human Resources programs, practices, pension, benefits, pay, timecards, etc.ResponsibilitiesRespond to all employee inquiries and requests relating to employment, HR programs, practices, pension, benefits, pay, timecards, etc.Ensure that customers' questions are fully addressed and support the team with complex/difficult questionsObtain feedback from stakeholders on relevant content to address employee issues/inquiriesFollow through to ensure that each case is fully resolved within our existing SLAsPrepare employment packages (new hire, termination, retirement, employment leaves etc.)Collect, review, track and forward forms/documents to internal or external 3rd parties as requiredEscalate requests to third party vendors for informationCoordinate and prioritize the flow and distribution of incoming employment changes,
confirming necessary documentation and signaturesComplete vacation and payroll investigations as requiredAdminister HR/ Employee Programs as requiredReview inquiries into ERC and determine gaps/missing information and appropriate audienceMonitor and identify trends in employee inquiriesContinually review and maintain up-to-date and relevant information on internal and external sites and document templatesPrepare and analyze reports for internal and/or external stakeholders as requiredSeek opportunities to create and simplify HR processes to improve customer service and meet client needsQualificationsPost‐Secondary certificate or diploma in HR Administration5-7 years HR administration experienceStrong written and verbal communication skillsAdvanced Microsoft Suite experienceAbility to prioritize and organize workload to meet strict deadlinesExperience in handling sensitive and confidential informationProfessional, approachable and customer service orientedBasic knowledge of legislation such as Human Rights, the Workers' Compensation Act, the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy ActPossess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all interested stakeholdersProficiency with the Microsoft Office suite of products (including Excel)Ability to interpret and apply corporate policies and procedures, and collective agreementsCommitment to ongoing professional development and continuous learning, and adherence to a qualified Code of EthicsThis position is administered under CU Inc and Canadian Energy Workers Association Collective Agreement, Job Posting provisions.ATCO is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.#J-18808-Ljbffr
