Shift hours subject to the Collective AgreementStatus:Permanent Full‑TimeClosing Date:May 28, 2026ResponsibilitiesPlanning and undertaking all mechanical operations, maintenance, communications, and energy management.Performing operations and undertaking preventive maintenance to ensure continuous operation of plant equipment and machinery.Diagnosing problems of equipment and machinery; providing feedback to ensure new construction and/or modification will not impact existing systems.Inspection of the facility and mechanical rooms; repairing equipment andmachinery.Contributing to the efficient operation of the department.Performing cross‑functional duties as assigned and/or required.Performing other duties consistent with the classification, as deemed necessary.QualificationsMinimum completion of high school or recognized equivalent.A certificate or diploma in Building Operations, or a 3rd or 4th class stationary engineer certificate (TSSA), or a recognized licensed trade certification in HVAC, plumbing, millwright, or electrician.For licensed trades,
