This role involves greater technical responsibility, decision-making in the field, and direct coordination with engineers, site supervisors, and clients.Projects include mining, heavy civil, and municipal infrastructure work, offering diverse and challenging field environments.This is afull-time, field-based position, with anApril or May start date anticipated .These roles could be local to Prince George, BC or camp-based with opportunities for fly-in, and fly-out.



We are especially interested in individuals local or willing to relocate to the Northern BC region (Prince George and Terrace)Active work environments including open-pit mines and construction sitesKey ResponsibilitiesIndependently performsoil and concrete QA/QC monitoring and testingConduct detailedfield inspectionsand verify compliance with drawings, specifications, and standardsMonitor earthworks, concrete placement, and construction activitiesIdentify and communicate non-conformances and field issues to engineers and project managersCoordinate with site personnel, contractors, and engineering staffComplete accurate, timely field reports and test documentationOperate vehicles and equipment safely in active mining and construction environmentsSupport and mentor junior technologists as neededBuild and maintain strong client relationshipsCompensation$30.00 – $35.00 per hour + overtime, depending on experience and certificationsWhat We Look ForDiploma in Civil Engineering Technology, a degree in Civil Engineering or related field2–5 years of relevant field-based QA/QC or geotechnical experienceLegal authorization to work in CanadaValid driver’s license and clean driver’s abstractAbility to meet physical job demands and pass fitness-for-work testingExperience working in safety-sensitive environments with drug and alcohol testingStrong communication, organization, and problem-solving skillsCommitment to safety, teamwork, and skilled developmentAdditional AssetsExperience in mining, heavy civil, or municipal construction projectsProficiency with off-road 4x4 driving and winter conditionsCertifications:BSO/CSO, H2S, CCILActive or eligible professional membership withASET, APEGA, PGeo, or ASTTBC#J-18808-Ljbffr
