Advance Indigenous education with Qalipu First Nation as an Indigenous Education Outreach Officer in Gander, NL. This role centers on facilitating education programs and community initiatives for youth.

This temporary position is set to conclude on March 31, 2027, with a chance for extension. You will assist in coordinating the Education Outreach and Outdoor Education Programs, deliver cultural content, and engage communities effectively. Together with the management team, you'll work on developing current projects and securing funding.

Key Responsibilities: • Facilitate school event coordination and visits • Lead outdoor educational instruction and activities • Coordinate community engagement efforts • Write promotional content and project reports • Support Mi'kmaq cultural projects and initiatives

Requirements: • Two-year diploma in social sciences or related field • One year of experience in youth programming • Demonstrated coordination and facilitation skills • Knowledge of Mi'kmaq culture highly regarded • Possession of a valid driver’s license required
