Quality Assurance Engineer - ManufacturingJob DescriptionWe are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to support manufacturing operations at our Raven’s Landing facility in Saanichton, BC. The successful candidate will support the company’s QA goal to implement robust solutions to minimize risk of nonconformities during production and in the final product.As an equal‑opportunity, inclusive employer we value diversity and encourage applicants from all backgrounds.Key responsibilities:Management of Process FMEAs & Control PlansCreation, release and periodic review.Implement and monitor the effectiveness of preventive actions.Development and administration of the Process Audit ProgramDefine and follow annual audit schedule.Follow standardized Process Audit Checklist.Lead root cause investigation for Manufacturing Group defect failure analysisIdentify and implement containment and/or mitigating actions.Feedback supplier failures to Supplier QA Engineer.Implement corrective actions.Monitor the effectiveness of corrective actions.Support introduction and verification of new or revised manufacturing processesAdminister the Change Control Process (CARP).Review and approve changes under the Process Development Framework Program.Verify compliance to Environmental Regulations (RoHS, REACH, etc.) and other company environmental requirements.Support New Product Introduction (NPI) with review and approval of Gate Reviews and SOPs.Support Customer QA Engineer on quality issues,



complaints and audits.Review and approve process deviations (Change Notice).Support GR&R/MSA studies in collaboration with Manufacturing Group.Support continuous improvement initiatives through Lean methodologies.Develop and maintain Visual Inspection Standards; provide training for QATechnicians and Manufacturing Technicians.Develop and administer a Root Cause Analysis training program for the Operations Group.Track, prepare and present process performance using quality data.Other duties as may be required from time to time.Experience:Minimum 8 years manufacturing experience, at least 5 years in a QA Engineering role.ISO 9001, ISO 13485 or equivalent QMS experience.Demonstrated experience leading QA engineering activities in a cross‑functional manufacturing environment.Strong working knowledge of problem‑solving tools and techniques.Experience with statistical software (e.G., JMP or Minitab).Skills / Additional requirements:Outstanding interpersonal skills, able to work in a team environment.Highly team-oriented with strong communication skills.Detail‑oriented with a methodical approach.Positive attitude and self‑motivation.Good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects.Education:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial or Electrical/Electronic).Lean/Six Sigma certification is an advantage.Internal Auditor certification.Salary Range:$100,000 – $120,000 CADTotal Rewards and Benefits:Competitive salary and performance‑based bonuses.Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance.RRSP retirement plan with employer match.Generous paid time off and holidays.Vibrant and inclusive workplace culture.#J-18808-Ljbffr
