JBH is committed to providing exemplary care and living the hospital’s core values of Compassion, Accountability, Respect and Excellence.ResponsibilitiesThe clerk’s responsibilities involve coordinating the orderly flow of patients and visitors in and out of the Department, reception and clerical activities within the Department, and the dissemination and coordination of general information.Answer phone calls - relay messages, liaise between staff, physicians and publicMake appointments for diagnostic tests, dispatch the corresponding requisitions and specimens to appropriate departments and arrange patient escort if necessaryTranscribe physician’s orders, fax medical orders to pharmacy and enter all other ordersUpdate patient room list and board daily,
