Safety First Industrial Canada is currently recruiting experienced Rescue Technicians and Breathing Air Technicians for the upcoming turnaround season. We have opportunities for both local and out-of-town work across Western Canada.

Job Summary

We are currently recruiting for Confined Space Rescue Technician and Breathing Air Technician positions for the upcoming turnaround season.

If you have valid rescue and safety certifications and are looking for flexible industrial work, we would like to hear from you.

Successful candidates may work on both local and non-local projects and will support safe work activities through:





- Confined space rescue and standby
- High angle rescue, where qualified
- Breathing air operations and equipment monitoring
- Atmospheric monitoring
- Safety watch duties as required
- Inspection and maintenance of safety and rescue equipment
- Compliance with client, site, and company safety requirements
- Supporting supervisors and other Safety First team members as required

Work schedules and project lengths will vary depending on client requirements and turnaround schedules.

Required Qualifications:

- H2S Alive
- Standard First Aid / CPR
- Confined Space Rescue
- Fall Protection
- CSO / CSTS
- Valid Class 5 License with Clean Abstract
- Ability to understand and communicate clearly in English (oral and written)
- Be able to effectively handle and respond to stressful/emergency situations
- Experience in industrial related safety positions, particularly confined space knowledge
- Be responsible, self-motivated, self-starter, personable and well organized
- Ability to travel areas of Alberta and other provinces and territories for extended periods of time on an ongoing basis
