Residential Concierge – Luxury Condominium

Location: Downtown Halifax, NS

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Position: Full-Time, Daytime Concierge

About the Position

We are seeking an experienced, professional, and service-oriented Residential Concierge to join the team at a high-end condominium building in downtown Halifax.

The Concierge is often the first point of contact for residents, guests, contractors, and service providers and plays an important role in creating a welcoming, professional, and well-managed environment.

The successful candidate will have previous concierge or similar residential hospitality experience, excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to provide a consistently high level of service while managing the day-to-day activity of a busy condominium building.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide professional, friendly, and attentive service to residents and guests
- Greet residents, visitors, contractors, and service providers and assist with inquiries
- Monitor and manage building access in accordance with established procedures
- Receive, track, and manage deliveries and packages
- Assist residents with amenity bookings, building information, and general requests
- Communicate effectively with property management, maintenance staff, and other concierge team members
- Coordinate contractor and service-provider access to the building
- Maintain accurate daily logs and records of building activities and incidents
- Monitor common areas and report maintenance, cleanliness, security, or operational concerns
- Assist with move-ins, move-outs, deliveries, and elevator bookings in accordance with building procedures
- Respond professionally and calmly to resident concerns and unexpected situations




- Use building management software to maintain records, communicate with residents, and manage building operations
- Ensure the concierge desk and lobby area maintain the professional standards expected in a luxury residential building
- Perform other concierge and administrative duties as required

Qualifications
- Previous concierge experience is required, preferably in a condominium, luxury residential, hotel, or similar environment
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Professional appearance and manner
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Reliable, punctual, organized, and able to work independently
- Comfortable working with computers, email, and building management systems
- Ability to manage multiple requests and priorities while remaining professional and composed
- Good judgment and discretion when dealing with residents and confidential information
- Experience using Condo Control is considered a robust asset
- Familiarity with condominium operations and procedures is an asset

Schedule This is a full-time daytime position, Monday to Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in providing exceptional service and understands the level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail expected in a high-end residential condominium environment.

Please note : Applicants must be legally authorized to work in Canada and must be able to maintain legal authorization to work in Canada for the foreseeable future. This position is not able to provide employer sponsorship or support for a new employer-specific work permit.
