We are seeking a motivated Residential Estimating Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing accurate project estimates, collaborating with clients and contractors, and ensuring competitive pricing for residential insulation projects. Your expertise will help drive successful project outcomes while maintaining the company’s commitment to quality and integrity.

Duties

- Review project plans, specifications, and site details to develop precise cost estimates for residential insulation projects.
- Utilize estimating software to compile detailed bids and proposals.
- Collaborate with project managers, sales teams, and clients to negotiate pricing and scope of work.
- Analyze labor, material, equipment costs, and market trends to ensure competitive yet profitable estimates.
- Prepare comprehensive bid packages that clearly outline scope, pricing, and timelines.




- Assist in project management tasks by tracking costs, updating estimates as needed, and supporting project execution.
- Maintain organized records of all estimating documents, revisions, and correspondence.

Skills

- Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable terms while meeting client needs.
- Experience with construction estimating software such as HeavyBid or equivalent tools.
- Solid understanding of construction processes, materials, and pricing strategies within residential projects.
- Excellent project management skills to coordinate multiple estimates simultaneously.
- Construction experience that provides insight into in office realities and cost factors.
- Effective communication skills to clearly present estimates and negotiate with stakeholders.
