You WillWork with project managers to accomplish various tasks associated with various projects.Participate in the highway design projects (including preliminary and detailed design).Assist project managers and/or engineers with preparation of design and contract documents, including technical specifications and other project specifications.Prepare reports and document project activities and data.Be progressive, imaginative, and enthusiastic in the work and strive to add value where possible for the benefit of the company and our clients.You Bring To The RoleCurrently enrolled in Civil Engineering Technology or Technician from an accredited College.Experience with AutoCAD.Working knowledge of Civil 3D, MicroStation, or Open Roads Designer is an asset.Good technical and communication skills are a necessity.Positive mindset and ability to collaborate in a team environment.Ability to complete assigned tasks efficiently and meet project deadlines.Competencies (Knowledge, Skill, Attributes)Good understanding of engineering and business fundamentals as they apply to engineering problems and projects.Ability to learn quickly and to take on new challenges.Collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Shows critical and creative thinking and problem solving and brings forward solutions for our clients' toughest challenges.Adapts and embraces change.CompensationRange:$24.00 - $27.00 per hourAt Hatch,
