Duties

- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements to ensure a smooth flow of service
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted and communicated clearly to the kitchen staff
- Handle cash transactions efficiently, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities, while maintaining accuracy in math calculations and change giving
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries, resolving concerns promptly, and upselling menu items to enhance the dining experience
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, supporting kitchen staff in maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and food safety standards




- Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed to uphold health regulations and sanitation guidelines
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including table clearing, sanitation of surfaces, and restocking supplies as necessary

Qualifications

- Previous food service experience or restaurant experience is highly preferred; familiarity with the food industry is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Experience using POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms for order entry and cashiering
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and performing simple calculations
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to manage time effectively in a quick-paced environment while multitasking efficiently
- Kitchen experience or food preparation skills are advantageous but not required; willingness to learn is essential
- Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items confidently to maximize sales opportunities
