Overview

We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Restaurant Manager and a Cook to lead our team at Madison's 1212. In this role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and maintain high standards of food quality and safety. Your leadership will drive team performance, foster a positive environment, and help us deliver memorable experiences to our guests.

Responsibilities

- Manage all aspects of restaurant operations, including food preparation, serving, and food handling to ensure smooth daily functions.
- Supervise staff members, including hiring, training, coaching, and conducting interviews to build a motivated and efficient team.
- Oversee food safety protocols and ensure compliance with health regulations and standards.
- Utilize POS systems to process transactions accurately and efficiently while managing cash handling procedures.
- Lead team management efforts by supervising shifts, delegating tasks, and maintaining high levels of customer service.




- Monitor restaurant performance metrics and implement improvements to enhance guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.
- Foster a welcoming environment that promotes hospitality, teamwork, and professional growth.

Required

- Prior experience for the respective role
- Pro-Serve prior to starting the job for both Supervisor or Manager's position with prior bartending experience

Qualifications

- Proven supervising experience in a restaurant or food service setting with strong leadership skills.
- Good food industry knowledge including food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen experience.
- Familiarity with restaurant management systems such as Micros POS; experience with cash handling is essential.
- Demonstrated ability to manage teams effectively through coaching, interviewing, and performance management.
- Excellent customer service skills with a passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and food handling procedures aligned with health regulations.
- Previous restaurant management or hotel experience is highly desirable; barista experience or restaurant experience is a plus.
