Duties

- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, providing detailed descriptions of dishes and specials
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of food handling, sanitation, and safety
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including cashiering and processing payments
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations in compliance with food safety regulations
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure proper food preparation and timely service for all guests





Skills

- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with strong guest service skills
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cashiering
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to perform basic math for billing, cash handling, and upselling techniques
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
- Experience in food industry roles such as serving or hospitality that demonstrate adaptability and professionalism
