Compensation: $18.00-20.00/hour
Hours: Flexible scheduling within regular store hours, Monday-Friday 7:30-6:00; Saturday 8:00-4:00

We’re looking for a dependable, friendly, and customer-focused Retail Cashier to join our team. If you enjoy helping customers, working in a fast-paced retail environment, and being part of a supportive team, we’d love to hear from you.
About the Role
As a Retail Cashier, you’ll be one of the first points of contact for our customers and play an important role in creating a positive experience in our store. You’ll handle point-of-sale transactions, assist customers with questions, and help keep the checkout and sales floor organized and welcoming. This is a customer-focused role that requires reliability, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn about our products and services.
What You’ll Do
- Greet customers with a positive and professional attitude
- Process cash, debit, credit, and other point-of-sale transactions accurately
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and directing customers to products when needed
- Answering incoming calls, take messages, and assist with customer inquiries
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked checkout area
- Assist with stocking shelves and keeping the sales floor tidy
- Develop and maintain knowledge of store products, promotions, pricing, and inventory
- Follow store procedures for returns, refunds, and cash handling
- Balance the cash register and complete end-of-shift procedures accurately
- Support team members with general store duties and other tasks as needed
- Assist with general store duties and special projects as needed
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures and report hazards to management
What We’re Looking For: The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous retail experience, cashier experience, or cash-handling experience is an asset, but not required
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Basic math skills and strong attention to detail
- Reliable, honest, and punctual
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and develop product knowledge
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment
- Comfortable learning and using point-of-sale and basic computer systems
- Comfortable standing for extended periods and performing light physical tasks, including lifting up to 25 lbs.
- Flexibility to work Saturdays and varying shifts as required

- Handle customer questions and concerns calmly and professionally
- Works confidently and accurately during busy periods while maintaining a positive customer experience
