We offer 14% in lieu of benefits (or HOOPP + 12%)ResponsibilitiesAssess patients referred for inpatient occupational therapy services.Develop an appropriate treatment program based on the patient’s ability and limitations; setting short- and long-term goals.



This includes referral to other services required to meet these goals.Implement the treatment plan through provision of appropriate occupational therapy (and delegation of appropriate supervised acts).Educate and inform the patient and family before, during and at the termination of treatment to help the patient understand their condition and maximize their functional return.Reassess patient progress and goals to ensure appropriate progression of treatment.Support the development and implementation of best practice models for occupational therapy.Provide input to the patient’s physician and other members of the health care team through direct personal discussion, inter-disciplinary conferences, and maintenance of adequate records and regular notes on the patient’s chart.
