About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Retail Store Manager to lead our store operations and team. The successful candidate will be a hands-on leader who can provide excellent customer service, support and develop staff, maintain efficient day-to-day operations, and help drive sales and store performance.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the retail store.
- Lead, support, and motivate staff to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Schedule and coordinate staff coverage according to business needs.
- Train, coach, and provide ongoing support and feedback to team members.
- Assist with hiring and onboarding as required.
- Monitor sales, customer service, and overall store performance.
- Maintain a clean, organized, safe, and welcoming retail environment.
- Manage inventory levels and assist with product ordering and receiving.
- Use and maintain accurate information within the store's MMS and ordering systems.
- Process and oversee customer transactions and ensure proper cash-handling procedures.
- Address customer questions, concerns, and service issues professionally.
- Ensure company policies, procedures, and operational standards are followed.
- Assist with merchandising, displays, pricing, and promotional activities.
- Help identify opportunities to improve store operations and sales.
- Communicate effectively with ownership/management regarding staffing, inventory, sales, and operational needs.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as required to support the business.





Qualifications & Skills
- Previous retail management or supervisory experience is an asset.
- Strong leadership and team-management skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Experience with MMS and/or retail management systems is an asset.
- Experience with ordering and inventory systems is an asset.
- Experience training and developing staff is an asset.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently while also being an effective team leader.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to remain professional and composed in a busy retail environment.
- Reliable, dependable, and flexible with scheduling.
- Comfortable working with computers and point-of-sale systems.

Schedule & Availability This is a full-time position at approximately 35 hours per week. Availability to work weekends is required as scheduled based on business needs.

Our regular operating hours are:

- Monday–Friday: 8:30 AM–6:00 PM
- Saturday: 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Sunday: 12:00 PM–5:00 PM
- Closed: Statutory holidays

The successful candidate must be available to work a flexible schedule within our operating hours, including weekends as required.
