At Lisa Gozlan Jewelry, our retail teams are the voice of our brand. The Retail Training & Development Specialist will play an key role in helping our teams build the knowledge, confidence, and skills needed to deliver an exceptional client experience.

Working closely with Retail Leadership and partnering with Human Resources, Product, and Brand, you will facilitate engaging training, support new-hire onboarding, reinforce product knowledge, and create learning resources that bring the Lisa Gozlan brand to life.

This is a hands-on role that combines delivering training with developing practical learning materials. You'll spend time both in our boutiques coaching teams and in the office creating content that supports consistent learning across all retail locations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Facilitate Retail Training

- Facilitate engaging in-person and virtual training sessions for new and existing retail team members.
- Support the delivery of training on Lisa Gozlan's brand story, client experience, product collections, materials, styling, and selling behaviours.
- Assist with new-hire retail onboarding in partnership with Store Managers and Retail Leadership.
- Support product education surrounding recent collections, launches, campaigns, and key selling periods.
- Deliver interactive learning experiences through demonstrations, role-playing, quizzes, and practical activities.
- Reinforce learning through follow-up coaching and knowledge checks.

Product & Brand Education

- Build and maintain a strong understanding of Lisa Gozlan products, collections, materials, and styling.




- Partner with the Product and Brand teams to understand key product features and collection launches.
- Help translate product information into engaging learning resources and retail talking points.
- Support ongoing product knowledge sessions for retail employees.

New Hire Training & Development

- Support the onboarding and training experience for current retail employees.
- Assist in delivering structured training during an employee's first weeks.
- Help maintain onboarding guides, checklists, and product knowledge resources.
- Partner with Store Managers to ensure a consistent onboarding experience across locations.
- Track training completion and participation, and assist in measuring the effectiveness of training initiatives through quizzes, observations, and feedback.
- Conduct follow-up knowledge checks and provide additional coaching when required.

In-Store Coaching

- Visit retail locations regularly to observe the client experience and support employee development.
- Provide coaching on product knowledge, storytelling, and selling behaviours.
- Identify opportunities to reinforce training and share observations with Retail Leadership and Store Managers.
- Reinforce training initiatives and support employees following product launches.

Build Training Materials

- Create and update engaging training presentations, product guides, quick-reference tools, quizzes, activities, videos, and other learning resources.
- Adapt information from Product, Brand, Retail, and HR into practical training materials that employees can easily understand and apply.
- Assist with maintaining and organizing Lisa Gozlan's retail training resources to ensure materials remain current.

Partner Across the Business

- Partner with Retail Leadership,



Human Resources, Product, and Brand to support retail learning initiatives.
- Gather feedback from Store Managers and employees to help improve future training.
- Support the consistent delivery of the Lisa Gozlan client experience across all retail locations.

Qualifications

- 2+ years of experience in retail training, learning and development, retail leadership, product education, or a similar role.
- Experience in luxury retail, fashion, beauty, jewelry, or specialty retail is considered a strong asset.
- Comfortable and energized, facilitating training and speaking in front of groups.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to make information engaging and easy to understand.
- Passion for coaching people and helping others build confidence.
- Strong interest in jewelry, fashion, product, and the retail client experience.
- Creative approach to training — you believe learning should be interactive, practical, and memorable.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Comfortable creating polished presentations, guides, and visual learning materials.
- Experience with Canva, PowerPoint, Google Workspace, or similar tools is an asset.
- Ability to travel between Lisa Gozlan retail locations as required.
