The role involves cleaning all units assigned, including patient rooms and public areas, performing tasks such as mopping, dusting, vacuuming, buffing, scrubbing, and refining floors, moving and arranging furniture, and changing curtains and drapes. The Worker ensures that our core principles of safety, ethics, quality, and inter‑professional collaboration are integrated into all services and communications.ResponsibilitiesMaintain a clean, safe, and functional environment for patients, families, staff and visitors.Clean all units assigned, including patient rooms and public areas, such as mopping, dusting, vacuuming, buffing, scrubbing, and refining floors.Move and arrange furniture, and change curtains and drapes as required.Ensure integration of core principles of safety, ethics,



and quality in all services and communications.Adhere to infection‑control standards and ensure environmental safety.Travel to other sites as required.About YouGrade 12 or equivalent work experience.Commitment to promoting a culture that supports safety, ethical practices, and organizational health.Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality.Travel to other sites may be required; access to a reliable vehicle is required.Experience operating equipment including Taski spray buffers, burnishers, auto scrubbers, and shampooers.Competency in additional languages is an asset; French preferred.HoursPermanent full‑time position; 75 hours biweekly.Compensation and Benefits$20.74 - $21.56 hourly. Successful candidates may be eligible for our benefits package which includes health, dental, travel, long‑term disability, and life insurance coverage as well as a defined benefit pension plan.This is a support bargaining unit position.
