Irrigation Technician(Temporary, Seasonal) – 1943Close Date:June 2, 2026An exciting and challenging chance exists for a Temporary, Seasonal Irrigation Technician with the City of Kamloops. This position is responsible for irrigation installation and maintenance work across multiple green spaces in our city. The seasonal opportunity runs from approximately April to November each year.QualificationsCompletion of a post‑secondary certificate in Horticulture, Turf, or Landscape Maintenance.Completion of Certified Irrigation Technician Level I course (through IIABC).Six months’ experience in central control irrigation systems installation, maintenance, and winterization.Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s Licence.This is a unionized position with CUPE Local 900. A comprehensive benefits package is included.
